CourseForum Unveils New Options for Collaborative E-Learning
Released 1/16/2003.
CourseForum Technologies has introduced CourseForum 1.2, its web-based
software for e-learning content creation, sharing and discussion.
Easier to use and more interactive than conventional forum software,
CourseForum provides a painless, straightforward and flexible solution
for posting and sharing course materials, class discussions, and student
collaboration. It can be used for lecture notes, Q&A, discussion topics,
research, student portfolios, group projects and more.
CourseForum can be hosted on Windows 98/ME/NT/2000/XP, MacOS X, Linux or
other Unixes, while users need only a standard web browser. The quick
installation and easy web browser interface lets you get started in minutes,
and everyone can easily create, read and contribute.
Version 1.2 introduces support for larger numbers of courses, and several
new licensing options. Starting at US$79, standard licenses are now
available for one, ten or fifty courses. Larger site licenses are also
available. A new free version has also been introduced, providing basic
collaboration support for a single course.
