ProjectForum 1.3 Brings Easy and Effective Project and Intranet Collaboration
Released 2/16/2003.
CourseForum Technologies today introduced ProjectForum 1.3, its web-based
software for flexible workgroup collaboration and coordination of projects
and teams.
Easier to use and more interactive than conventional forum, collaboration
or intranet software, ProjectForum lets you build an intranet or project
site where everyone can actively and directly contribute, without complex
software or a full-time administrator getting in the way. It can be used
for project planning, task assignments, meeting notes, team discussions,
research, brainstorming and more.
Version 1.3 brings a large range of enhancements across the product. New
formatting options make it easier to support a wider range of content,
while the new 'references' feature makes it easier to follow up on
related material. Additional changes in login, search, editing, posting,
and administration make using ProjectForum even simpler. Several changes
were also made for better compatibility with Apple's Safari web browser.
ProjectForum can be hosted on MacOS X, Windows 98/ME/NT/2000/XP, Linux or
other Unixes, while users need only a standard web browser. The quick
installation and easy web browser interface lets you get started in minutes,
and everyone can easily create, read and contribute. Licenses start
at US$199, and a free version is also available.
