The photography and filming group has decided to work on the topic “success”. By means of photography and filming people in Khayelitsha will be interviewed about success in their lives.

These are the results of the first brainstorming.

What is success?

- broad minded - achieving something - feeling good because if helping - satisfaction - happiness - long term goals - following a process until the end - to do what you are good at - wealth/ money - personality - to have a beautiful husband from a foreign country - to get pregnant - to built a home in a wealthy place - to be a lawyer

How to become successful?

- work hard - communicate - focus on goals - believe in yourself - creative - confidence

What is our personal success?

- to got to school - university degree - to play for Manchester City - to be a technician - to become a teacher - to be a singer - first payment - help homeless - to have a first born son - to have a house

What is success for Khayelitsha?

- education - job creation - better housing - less poverty - decrease of crime - sports ground - talent centres - rehabilitation centre - supply with food - solidarity - unity - wealth - sharing within the community
