CourseForum 1.3 Enhances E-Learning Collaboration

Released 2/10/2003.

CourseForum Technologies today introduced CourseForum 1.3, its web-based software for e-learning content creation, sharing and discussion.

Easier to use and more interactive than conventional forum software, CourseForum provides a painless, straightforward and flexible solution for posting and sharing course materials, class discussions, and student collaboration. It can be used for lecture notes, Q&A;, discussion topics, research, student portfolios, group projects and more.

Version 1.3 brings a large range of enhancements across the product. New formatting options make it easier to support a wider range of content, while the new 'references' feature makes it easier to follow up on related material. Additional changes in login, search, editing, posting, and administration make using CourseForum even simpler. Several changes were also made for better compatibility with Apple's Safari web browser.

CourseForum can be hosted on MacOS X, Windows 98/ME/NT/2000/XP, Linux or other Unixes, while users need only a standard web browser. The quick installation and easy web browser interface lets you get started in minutes, and everyone can easily create, read and contribute. Licenses start at US$79 for a single course, and a free version is also available.
