ProjectForum/CourseForum 4.4 Released
Released 5/24/2005.
CourseForum Technologies is pleased to announce the immediate
availability of ProjectForum 4.4, its professional and
easy-to-use web-based software for online team collaboration.
Inspired by the new generation of wikis, weblogs, bulletin boards and
other grassroots online collaboration tools, ProjectForum is easy to
setup, easy to use, powerful and secure. With it's wiki-style forums, teams
can collaborate more often, more effectively and more affordably.
Version 4.4 adds two new capabilities for creating and managing richer
content in group forums. First, new formatting options make it easier to
work with tabular information. Second, simple web-based slideshow
presentations can now be quickly created from forum pages (this is based
on the open source 'S5' HTML slideshow software by Eric Meyer). This release
also contains other changes to time zones and archiving support.
Easy to learn and use, ProjectForum can be hosted
on Mac OS X, Windows, Linux and FreeBSD, while users need only a standard
web browser. Standard licenses are available starting from US$229,
and a free "lite" version is also available. Fully managed hosting options
are also available, starting from US$20/month.

evaluation versions, visit the main
ProjectForum page.
CourseForum 4.4, an educational variant of
the software, optimized for e-learning collaboration, was also released.
