eRoom v5 takes the concept of a digital workplace to the next level. We've re-engineered portions of eRoom so that we could meet the needs of an enterprise scale business, handle more project processes, and included a host of other upgrades that make eRoom v5 the most complete business collaboration tool on the market today.

  • A Web-based database can be customized with wizard-like steps for project processes like issues tracking, approval routing, change order coordination, and managing data
  • There are more options for keep the team in sync with instant alerts about changes to the project and items in the workplace
  • A 'My eRooms' portal-like page gives users fast access and a visual status of custom set of their key eRoom workplaces --giving visibility across multiple projects
Greater customizability and extensibility:
  • End-users can now establish new roles for their workplace, like a 'West Coast client' group
  • Administrators can customize the design of the eRoom workplace to complement their corporate look
  • They can create customized databases for specific project procedures and offer them as standard objects for future workplaces
  • Administrators can create custom eRoom workplace templates, providing more ways to capture and reuse best practices from project to project

Tighter connection to the desktop and enterprise environments:
  • eRoom is more closely connected to personal desktop space, enabling users to receive eRoom alerts and messages through their email and to synchronize multiple project calendars with personal calendar and tasks from multiple databases with personal task lists
  • To make set-up and support easier for enterprise scale pools of users, v5 enables administrators to select names from any LDAP-compliant server (augmenting existing support for Microsoft NT directories)
  • The updated eRoom workplace can be more tightly connected to corporate portals and existing enterprise Web applications
